Windows Runtime provides the HttpClient class along with async APIs. For example, you can send a GET request through the GetAsync(Uri) method. GetAsync() method is an awaitable API so that it returns IAsyncOperationWithProgress<HttpResponseMessage, HttpProgress>^.
